SCI Business School Partners with CM ECO

On 9th October 2019, CM ECO had the privilege to meet and speak to students from the School of Business at Sunway College Ipoh! It was the first of the workshop series, which was by Vernon to a group of young and enthusiastic aspiring entrepreneurs. Vernon spoke about social entrepreneurship and its rising in today’s business landscape, current global and local environmental situations, currently available eco-friendly alternatives against plastic and its key characteristics, as well as an overview on Malaysia’s Roadmap to Zero Single-use Plastics 2030.

Before the session concluded, the students participated in a group activity where each group took turns to exchange ideas – how to pitch / market these biodegradable products for varied categories of consumers.
